It's never too late to begin moving through the journey of life as your most authentic Self.
Welcome to Therapy With Cori!
My name is Cori Ford, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Hello! Welcome to my site! It's not always easy to reach out for help, but with me, you are in a safe place where you can be open and honest without fear of judgement. Coming to the realization that you need help beyond what you, your family, or friends can provide is a significant and admirable first step. We all need to be seen and heard. My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families work through times of mental, emotional, or relational struggle. Like our vehicles, humans often need a mental, emotional, or spiritual "alignment" to become centered, and live a balanced life. Most often, we function from an unconscious (unaware or automatic) frame of mind to the point where we end up asking ourselves those common questions: "Why do I act that way?!" or "Why do they treat me that way?!" Together, we will explore whatever it is that may be contributing to your current ways of functioning and understanding, that keep you/your loved ones from living a desired and harmonious life filled with meaning and purpose. Not all therapists operate in the same way, therefore, it's important that you find the right fit for you/your loved ones. My personality style is fundamentally empathetic, yet curious, attentive, inquisitive, intuitive, interactive, and directive. I co-work with each client to get to the heart of what is going on, in search of core truths. Living in truth brings about mental and spiritual alignment. I strive to destigmatize and normalize mental health therapy. I'd be honored if chosen to be a part of your healing journey. Please feel free to explore my site further to see if I sound like someone with whom you would like to work - and if so, I invite you to contact me. My private practice office is located in Half Moon Bay, CA for in-person sessions.
(Telehealth/zooming available for individual sessions).
